St. Paul's
Episcopal Church
Annual Stewardship Campaign 2025
Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
As we gather together in the spirit of community and faith, I am reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 13:13: “And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.” This scripture resonates deeply with our mission as a church and our commitment to living out our Baptismal Covenant, particularly the call to “seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving your neighbor as yourself.”
This year, as we begin our annual stewardship campaign, I invite you to reflect on what it means to seek and serve Christ in all persons. Our stewardship is not merely about financial contributions; it is about the love and service we extend to one another and to our community. It is about recognizing Christ in the faces of those we encounter daily—our neighbors, our friends, and even strangers.
As we look to the future, we envision a church that is even more engaged in our community. To achieve this vision, we need to establish a solid financial foundation through careful budgeting and responsible stewardship. Your pledge aids us to do that.
Stewardship is an expression of our faith, a tangible way to demonstrate our commitment to the teachings of Christ. It is an opportunity to embody the love that Paul speaks of in his letter to the Corinthians. Love is not passive; it requires action. It calls us to engage with the world around us.
As we consider our individual and collective roles in this stewardship journey, let us remember that our contributions are vital to the life of our church and the broader community. Each financial gift is a testament to our faith and our commitment to loving our neighbors as ourselves.
Below you will find a pledge card for 2025. In the spirit of love and community, whether this is your first time to pledge or fiftieth, I encourage you to reflect on how you can contribute to our mission. Financially, your support enables us to continue our work, to reach out to those in need, and to foster an environment for all who seek Christ. Each pledge is a beacon of hope, a reflection of our shared commitment to be neighbors in our community and beyond.
In closing, I invite you to join me in prayerful consideration of how you can engage in this year’s stewardship campaign. Together, let us strive to embody the love that Paul speaks of, to seek and serve Christ in all persons, and to affirm our commitment to one another and to our community.
We understand that these are challenging times, and your financial situation may be strained. Please know that we appreciate your support, no matter the amount. Every contribution, large or small, helps us achieve our vision and continue making a difference.
Please submit your pledge card by Sunday, November 24, 2024.
Peace,
Thomas Fallin, Parish Administrator/Treasurer
